Question 2.What is induction furnace?

Induction Furnace is a type of electric furnace in which the heat is applied by electroagnetic induction in an electrically conducting object such metals or graphite. In this method, an alternating current applied to a water cooled coil in order to generate electromagnetic field within the coil. The electromagnetic field produces eddy current in the electrically conducting object positioned inside the coil. The eddy current will be converted into heat.
