In October 2003, the “Sixth Conference of Carbon Materials” was held in Kunming. More than 200 experts and scholars from colleges and universities, research institutes and industrial sectors attended this meeting.

The meeting pointed out that nano carbon materials, carbon fibers and composite materials, energy storage carbon materials and porous carbon are still the focus of the research and development of carbon materials.
